Conference Receptions
Outside of sessions, workshops and trail journeys, delegates will have the opportunity to network with each other and experience Ottawa’s finest food and venues at two receptions:
- Welcome reception: Kick off the conference by getting to know your peers in a relaxed setting filled with music, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will experience some of Ottawa’s finest fare and get a taste of the local flavour. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a multi-year veteran, this reception is the place to catch up with colleagues, make new friends and get excited for the week ahead.
- Trails of the World reception: Join us at the Canadian Museum of History for an evening of celebration including dinner, an inspiring keynote presentation, and time to mingle with the global trails community. This world-class venue is a perfect setting to reflect on the exciting week of sessions and connect with fellow conference goers.
