Outdoors WA is proud to announce that the full agenda for the World Trails Conference 2026 (WTC2026) is now live, revealing an exceptional international speaker line-up and a dynamic program set to shape the future of global trail development.
This year’s conference will feature 97 speakers, more than 65 sessions, and 18 hands-on workshops, bringing together leading voices from across the world in trail planning, tourism, conservation, outdoor recreation, and cultural connection.
Representing 18 countries, the program highlights the strength of global collaboration and shared purpose across the trails community. From large-scale trail networks to local community initiatives, WTC2026 will showcase innovation, best practice, and practical solutions to the challenges and opportunities facing trails worldwide.
A key feature of the program is a series of headline speakers, who will bring powerful and thought-provoking perspectives on:
- The future of regenerative land management
- First Nations connections to Country and cultural stewardship
- The role of trails in strengthening communities, wellbeing, and regional economies
- Sustainable tourism and long-term trail infrastructure development
