The conference is designed to stimulate inspiring dialogues amongst trail professionals and trail supporters to help take trails into the future.

We have a public LinkedIn event to help facilitate networking with other attendees and presenters. Please mark yourself as attending and share the event with your professional network.

When posting on social media, use the hashtag #WorldTrailsConference and tag @worldtrailsnetwork (Instagram) or @WorldTrailsNet (Twitter). Follow our social media accounts for updates and ways to engage on social media.

The due date for draft abstracts for the 2024 conference will be announced in the coming months.

Yes. Due to the diverse nature of our presentation styles, attendees can present in multiple sessions. See our Presentation Guidelines for more.

Presentations are short and to the point. Our Presentation Guidelines page contains all the required information to decide what type of presentation style to choose from.

No. Everyone is welcome to attend, submit a proposal to speak or be part of a discussion panel.

No, members receive a discount on the registration fee but are still required to register and pay the member rate. Virtual attendees who are paid up members of the World Trails Network are able to attend for free, but also need to register.

Please email info@worldtrailsconference.org to request a refund. We can only refund a portion of the attendance fee. There is a 15% banking levy deducted from all refunds.
