Become a World Trails Conference Host
The World Trails Conference is a global gathering of trail experts, trail managers and builders, trail destinations, enthusiasts and academics, who meet every two years to share knowledge, network and ensure the benefits trails offer society continue to be sustainable and supported around the world. Hosted every two years in a different country, previous hosts include Ottawa, Canada; Skiathos, Greece; Santiago de Compostela, Spain; Tottori, Japan; and Jeju Island, Korea.
Bids for the 2030 conference will start to be accepted in late 2026. To be considered, please reach out to info@worldtrailsnetwork.org to be added to the future conference proposals mailing list.
Attending a conference is the best way to find out more about the World Trails Conference and the World Trails Network. We’ll hold an information session at the WTC2026 Perth event so you can meet the WTN international conference committee and find out more about hosting a future event in your country.
