Call for Papers Announced and International Ticket Pre-Release Now Open

Excitement is building for the World Trails Conference 2026, with the official Call for Papers now open — inviting trail professionals, researchers, community leaders, and storytellers from around the world to share their knowledge and ideas.

Announced alongside the Call for Papers on 17 October, the international pre-release of delegate tickets has also opened, giving global attendees early access to discounted rates and the chance to secure their place at this landmark event in Western Australia. The strong early interest from around the world reflects the growing momentum and anticipation for the 2026 conference.

Submissions are encouraged from across the globe, particularly those exploring the intersection of trail tourism, First Nations connections to land, conservation, community, and innovation in trail design and management.

The Call for Papers closes in early 2026, with successful presenters to be announced ahead of the full program release mid-year.

This is an exciting moment for the global trails community,” said Neil Le Febvre, CEO at Outdoors WA. “The Call for Papers and international ticket pre-release signal the start of a truly international conversation about the future of trails, culture, and conservation — and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Western Australia in 2026.
